A genealogy of the «Habitus»
on the German spoken Jews at Buenos Aires City
during Nazi’s years and afterwards

As a matter of my research, I am intended to study the process involved in emigration and immigration, the problems concerning social integration and the impact of the cultural collisions among immigration waves of the German Jews in Argentina during Nazi’s years and after the Second World War (1933-1952).
I am committed to study the discourse included in German Jews’ social representations and their «Habitus», based upon content analysis of the stories of their lives, and the narrative focused on the assimilation in the German society, their kind of nationalism and Pan Germanic and their consequences in the process of social integration in Argentina as the results of a forced immigration one.
Based on my experience as immigrant, and on my participation because of my specialization in Israel in Community Sociology mainly focused in the immigrants’ social integration, I was capable of creating a reflexive sociology about our elder people that was forced by the Shoah exile; and that was the origin of this new participation that I am proposing to myself to develop now. I would make a comparison between social facts both in Germany as in Argentina, putting my analysis upon the suitable characteristics regarding the German state, joining them to the political, economic, social and psycho social conditions and with the social conflict during the Nazi period in Germany, and in Argentina afterwards.
This project has become one of the few comparative studies available about the German Jews immigrants and refugees’ psycho social dysfunctions, regarding analytical categories about their main conflicts, tensions, restrictive situations and every problem concerned to the immigration waves arrived at Buenos Aires between 1933 and 1941, and their offspring in Argentina, Germany and Israel.
