have distorted the concept of what is critical and this has led us to believe that a bad thing when the reality is completely different. The receiving or making a criticism is usually not listed in a positive way, but as an attack.

The criticism comes from the Greek word κριτικός (kritikos), meaning "able to discern, in other words is the ability you have to distinguish something from something else, pointing out the differences between these, it could say that this view is open between those features that are the subject to be criticized.

Without

certainly we have all received some criticism towards our person at some point, either by our attitudes, our way of being, our physical or anything else that may be criticized.

Any criticism reflects something to be considered, whether this highlight something in a positive or a sign of something that should be considered to produce some change, but sometimes we have learned just to listen to those criticisms that make us feel good, but not those that make us uncomfortable because they reflect an obvious truth.

I think uncomfortable with a critique is something really positive because it implies that there was something within us I could get to make a change to deal with a different truth to which we ourselves have considered.

The criticism is one of the best tool one can use, through it you can get out of place to the most learned, to realize the situation they live. The problem is we have not learned to listen to criticism when we feel attacked, nor have we learned to be critical and say openly what we think, locking up our belief at an impenetrable bubble.

This impenetrable bubble we have created around us is that sometimes prevented a change in our lives and our environment, producing we are not relevant in the environment that we are.

The Bible itself speaks in a way the criticism, in a sense to discern between good and evil, saying:

ye ought to be teachers, after all this time, you have need to teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, not solid food. And everyone who partakes of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, he is a babe, but solid food is for those who have reached maturity, for which the use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Heb 5:12-14

I think who is trained to receive and make criticisms, is someone who has matured in their relationship with God so that it can discern those that are critical to his person, so These always produce positive results, but also knows how to use this insight to his criticisms are a schoolmaster to lead to the truth always.

Today the church is in need of people to exercise a critical discernment that smart, especially with regard to leadership, as one of the current problems of the leader in contemporary Christian church is pride, which produces spiritual blindness, caused by people that are around, which make up any reason to please their leader.
