few minutes ago while surfing the Internet I saw someone ask, what does the Simpsons character you identify with?, I think was inevitable and make my imagination to the different characters in this animated series, which certainly unlike most "Christians" that the censor, I recommend it for its high content of social issues, allegories and critics who manage to go beyond the crude entertainment of his parodies, leading you to think about current living conditions of American society.
Anyway, the point is that thinking of these people remembered two characters are not well known in the series for not being the main protagonists, but I think we can teach some things.
Mel Patiño

Bleeding Gums Murphy
Bleeding Gums Apparently, as is better known, lives a life in the shadows, not one of the best people, apparently has a life of suffering, not is recognized or remembered by anyone, but can give a glimmer of hope to a little girl as Lisa when she finds him while fleeing from his home, playing his saxophone on a bridge, this character appears in a few chapters, but in the end before he died, Morphy knows he must leave his saxophone to Lisa as a gift wishing she could go ahead to pursue his dream ... After Murphy's death shows his funeral where no one appears but only Lisa and the Rev. Joy in the rain, but leaving a passion, purpose and an end in the girl who became his mentor.
Within Christian leadership, are also people who are not remembered or recognized, living in shadows, but leave a great legacy, not stand in front of the stadiums, but to leave a glimmer of hope in someone.
Jesus speaking in Luke 6:6 mentions:
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door, pray to thy Father in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret will reward you.

could see a great education at these two characters, probably even without thinking the author of Simpson, was based concepts that Jesus himself left us, I hope we can learn about the legacy and seek what is truly real leadership.
